It's in the Bag

Good morning.  I got a small canvas bag as a gift with something I had purchased and decided it would be a good size to keep small, miscellaneous bits and pieces in.  The problem was it was too plain, so I decided to decorate it with Technique Junkies stamps and Art Anthology paints.

I stamped the Vintage Daisy Collage stamp in Versamark ink and then painted in the daisies with Art Anthology Lemon Tart, Desire, Tango, Tuxedo, and Shamrock Velvets.  I then masked the daisies off and sprayed the entire bag with Art Anthology Salted Caramel Colorations.

Next I took a Tim Holtz trinket pin and with a jump ring, attached a Tim Holtz Type Charm with my initial ("M").  Now the bag is ready for use.

That's it for today.  Until later........................

Children and Flowers

Good morning everyone!  I've got two journal pages to share with you today featuring Technique Junkies stamps.

For the first page, I sprayed a piece of watercolor paper with Art Anthology Ink Spot, Heart, and Waimea Bay Colorations.  I then stamped Rose Urn Collage with Versifine ink and embossed in red, green, and black.  I then used Art Anthology's Cracked stencil and some heavy black gesso to add texture.  Next  I sprayed a piece of cardstock with Art Anthology Patience Colorations, stamped out one of the sentiments from Sentimental Sayings, and added that to my page.  Finally, I placed my image and several butterflies and flat-backed gems around my page.

For the second page (back of the first), I sprayed with Art Anthology Waimea Bay and Patience Colorations and when that was dry, stamped Tropical Flowers, repeating until the page was covered.  The sentiment is People Will Stare (small) and was stamped on a scrap piece of pre-misted cardstock I had.  I then placed my images and scattered several painted starbursts across the page.

I love the way this turned out and the pages should now be residing with their new owner.

Hope you enjoyed!

Until later.........................

You've just seen Jerri Jones's project and isn't her work just awesome?!?!  She's so good at putting stamps and colors together to create the perfect card.  She's awesome!

Here is the hop participants in order:

I decided to try my hand at a card for a change of pace.  I used the 180 Degree Stamping Technique from Bodacious Backgrounds along with the new Barbed Wire #S611.  I then stamped The Right Shoes #SD610 onto a white piece of card stock and carefully cut them out.  I then matted them on a black piece of cardstock and trimmed that.

The sentiment you see comes with The Right Shoes and was was treated the same way the stamped image of the shoes was.  I then matted everything on a red piece of card and then onto a black piece.  I love the contrast you get with red and black.
