The only problem I've really had is the muscle relaxers cause really weird dreams. I actually had to wake myself up last night and sit up, completely awake, for several minutes. I was dreaming that for no reason, I couldn't breathe. Very scary, but as soon as I would wake up, I would breathe. So, to break the dream completely, I made myself stay awake for awhile. But, since I'm still in pain, I have to take them. The Percoset (sp?) is better though. While it doesn't totally stop my pain, it does nock it back some.
So, today, Valentine's Day, will be spent on the couch (also where I have been sleeping) watching Bones DVDs, the Daytona 500, & the Winter Olympics. Also, since my husband got me a Barnes & Noble Nook ereader for Valentine's Day, I'll be playing with it.
Okay, sorry to my followers about missing Postcard Friday. If I feel better in a few days, I'll post a postcard for you. Right now, just typing is making me feel icky.
Well, back to laying down. I just wanted to check in and say I'm Alive and Thank You for all the well wishes.
Smiles~
Happy Valentine's Day. Happy to see you are on the mend. Take care...julie

ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day!!!!
So glad it's all over for you and now is just the recovery. Take it easy, relax and take time to heal yourself! Happy Valentine's Day ~ Judi
ReplyDeleteI ventured over here through your kind comment at my OWOH giveaway (http://lifeunity.blogspot.com) - oh my!
ReplyDeleteI really hope you are recovering well! I have spondylolisthesis at L5/S1 and hoping to avoid surgery. We have a whole family history of back issues...some have already had fused vertebrae. I am familiar with the troubles - yikes.
I do hope you are resting and being spoiled by all who love you.
Many blessings,
Lisa

Glad to hear you are recovering and that it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be. Take care.
ReplyDeleteBless your heart...that's got to be rough, you need the meds to control the pain, but how scary to have that suffocating feeling. I'll definitely keep you in prayer.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet, sweet comments tonight, it's good to know I'm not alone in my ADHD-ness sometimes. :-)
Big hugs,
Anne
