It's a Puzzle

Good morning!  Today, I have taken three large puzzle pieces (from a child's 24-piece puzzle set), and turned them into little miniature art pieces.  Take a look at my Art Anthology Snapguide to see how it's done.

Faith and Love

Good morning everyone!  I have a couple of ATCs to share with you today that I created using the wonderful stamps from Technique Junkies.

I first sprayed my card with Art Anthology Colorations in Wild Orchid, Peacock Feathers, and Heart.  I then stamped them with Contemporary Floral.  I then painted them with Art Anthology Sorbet in Pixie, Coral, and Tink.  The leaves were painted with Leaf Sorbet.  Faith was stenciled in Black Leather Jacket Sorbet.  I outlined the card with a ruler and a Micron pen.

For this ATC, I sprayed the Waimea Bay and Patience Colorations.  I then used the Distress Removal technique (found in the Sensational Stencils CD) with the dot matrix stamp.  I stamped Lanterns and then painted them with Art Anthology Velvets in Tango, Desire, and Fiji.  The tops and bottoms of each lanterns are painted with  Art Anthology Gold Metal Effects.  Love was stenciled with Black Leather Jacket Sorbet.

I Dream of Paris

Good morning!  The theme for the Art Anthology design team this month was our Bucket List.  We were tasked with creating a project based on one of the items from our Bucket List.  Well, I've always wanted to visit Paris, France.

If you would like to see how I put this spread together, check out my Art Anthology Snapquide to see step-by-step how this spread was created:

Ahhhh Paris.  Maybe one of these years.

Birds, Leaves, and a Butterfly

Good morning everyone!  Here's a project I did for Technique Junkies the other day.

One side is a bright, fun page using one of the new September releases from Technique Junkies.

I stamped the new release Oak Leaves onto my page several times, carefully matching up the edges, using Cinnamon ink.  I then painted some of the leaves with Art Anthology Velvet in Desire, Tango, Lemon Tart, and Shamrock.

Next I stamped Birds, Set of Five in several different colors of ink and cut out.  I arranged them on my page and after gluing them down (I used my Xyron sticker machine), I outlined then in black Sharpie to make them stand out.  To finish the page, I added words from the Sizzix Thinlits Adventure die set.

The front is a lot simpler.

I sprayed Art Anthology Wild Orchid and Salted Caramel Colorations onto my page.  Next I stamped Big Winged Butterfly on a piece of mixed media paper and cut out.  I painted the butterfly with Art Anthology Sorbets in Pixie, Coral, and Mi Bella.  Before gluing it down, I added dots using the Art Anthology Dottie stencil and Aqua Marine ink.  Once my butterfly was in place, I then added circles using the top of one of my Art Anthology paint bottles, Tuxedo Velvet, and white paint.  The word "life" comes from the same Sizzix Thinlits Adventure set I used above.

Good Morning and Happy September, Junkies!!  I know we are well on the way to Fall and then Christmas!  Well I can and what better way to bring in September than with a blog hop.  The Technique Junkies team is hosting a blog hop to share all the new exciting September Releases with you.  So join us today as we hop into September and showcase all the new goodies.  Don't forget to to visit each team members blog in order not to miss any of the fun.  If you  haven’t started at the beginning, please visit the Technique Junkie Designer Blog (http://techniquejunkies.blogspot.com) so you are sure to catch it all!

You've just seen Gini Cagle's project and isn't her work just awesome?!?!  She uses such vibrant colors when she creates her gorgeous cards.

Here is the hop participants in order:
I was in the Christmas mood, so decided to create this Christmas card.  The only thing left is to decide who to send it to.  I used two of our new Christmas releases, Ornament and Merry Christmas 2.

I stamped both with Versafine ink onto a piece of card and then cut them out.  For the Ornament, I painted with Art Anthology Shamrock and Desire Velvet, then gave the entire image a coat of Art Anthology Gold Metal Effects.  I matted both the ornament and the sentiment with a piece of Christmas paper I had in my stash and then with a piece of deep red card.  Finally, I affixed both to a black card.  I love the contrast I got with the black, red, and green.  The colors really stand out.

Love the new September releases?  Well they are currently on sale for 15% off through this weekend!   Go to http://techniquejunkies.com/ click on September 2015 Releases.
